Intraoral Scans
We provide intraoral scans as a modern alternative to dental impressions. Traditional dental impressions use gooey, messy, and bad-tasting putty. Alternatively, intraoral scans take instant scans of the smile and send them to a computer.
Using these digital scans, we can see a three-dimensional model of the smile. We often use intraoral scans for Invisalign, sports mouthguards, and bruxism night guards.
Digital X-rays
Our office uses digital dental x-rays to keep track of tooth development and find emerging dental problems. Modern dental x-rays have many benefits, including reduced radiation, quick treatment, and simple access for our team. Digital x-rays also allow us to save images and send x-rays to specialists if needed.
CBCT scans
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans use cone-shaped x-rays to take hundreds of pictures of the smile. When we take CBCT scans, the patient is in the middle of the machine. It rotates around them and takes images of the teeth and gums.
Unlike dental x-rays, CBCT scans can show soft tissues, bones, and nerves all in detail. With CBCT scans, we can find signs of tooth decay within teeth, jaw issues, and bone loss.

Children, Infant to 10 Years Old
We recommend seeing preschool children in the morning when they’re more relaxed. This lets us work slowly and make them feel comfortable. School-age children who need more treatment are also seen in the morning for the same reason.
We’ll provide excused absence forms to explain that dental treatment is medically necessary. We can keep missing school to a minimum when patients continue regular dental care.

Children Aged 11 to 18
Children in higher grades will be given preference for appointments during off-school hours. They cannot miss school as easily as younger children. Please recognize that we try to accommodate as many children during off-school hours as possible. We will provide excused absence forms explaining that dental treatment is medically necessary.
Cancellation Policy
We reserve appointment times just for you. Please let us know at least two days in advance if you can’t make it. This allows us to offer the time to another patient who needs care. We know that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance.
